Who can give: U.S. citizens and lawfully admitted permanent residents. Contributions from corporations and labor unions are prohibited under Maryland campaign finance law for state-level candidate committees.
Tax status: Contributions to Friends of Johnny Mautz are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Your information: Maryland law requires a name and address for every contribution. We use it for State Board of Elections reporting only — we don't sell, share, or rent it.
