The following gun bills have passed out of the Senate Judiciary Proceedings Committee and will be heard on the Senate floor today, March 9, 2023.

Senate Bill 1 – Criminal Law – Wearing, Carrying, or Transporting Firearms – Restrictions (Gun Safety Act of 2023)

Senate Bill 185 – Maryland State Police Gun Center – Firearms Surrendered Under Final Protective Orders. 

Senate Bill 858 – Firearm Safety – Storage Requirements and Youth Suicide Prevention (Jaelynn’s Law).
